Open House Dublin is a free festival of architecture with 100+ tours, talks, lectures, workshops, podcasts and more across the city and county – brought to you by the Irish Architecture Foundation (https://openhousedublin.com).
DIAS Dunsink Observatory (dunsink.dias.ie) has been a centre for astronomical research and public engagement in Ireland since its foundation in 1785. We will open the doors to the public to explore the rooms of the main Observatory House as well as the 19th Century South Dome. Researchers from our Astronomy and Astrophysics Section will tell visitors about the history of the Observatory as well as its modern day research activities.
We will have 3 time slots for entry, 10am, 11am and 12pm. Each time slot will last 45 minutes.
